So, it takes me a week to make these tones for MZ-X. Here, in tones, I took samples from many of the keyboards. That is Genos, Nautilus, Fantom 6, CT-K7200 and the MZ-X itself..., and created a one sample by combining or layering almost 10+ samples. I controlled the volume and each functions for make it safe from distortion and clip. Here are the tones, what I created for MZ-X500. Let me comment for any suggestions. Please let me know for progress. I'm creating more tones for MZ-X500, so I'll get better help and experience for creation. If you want to add or improve something by editing let me know by comment, I'll update it's version. 😊 There are two files 1. Epic Strings 2. Epic Lead -
Dear colleagues, I plan to refresh my old compositions recorded on Casio CTK-6000 (.CMS and .MID extensions) and on Casio CDP-230R (.SP7 and .MID extensions). Would you prompt me – whether is MZ-X500 suitable for this purpose? Can it not only open these files but edit them? For example, I wold like to replace an old tone for a new one, re-write some tracks, edit particular events in tracks, add DSP(s), and so on, using amazing features of MZ-X500. Thanks in advance

So, the Yamaha Tyros is sold, and it's now time for something else to play on until i have enough money for the Yamaha Genos. Now, in Holland they sell the MZ-X500 for roughly 700 euro's BUT! In Germany i can get the MZ-X300 for about 400 euro's LESS. So that is a lot of money.. So i'm wondering, what exactly are the differences between the MZ-X300 and 500? 200 less tones (Because of the missing Hex Layer feature?) 128MB sample ram instead of 256MB ? 4 non-velocity sensetive pads instead of 16 velocity sensetive pads Less rythms (But you can probably load the X-500 rythms in there anyways..) Different colour. Anything else i'm missing here? I mean, 300 bucks for one of the best casio's out there (The other one being the X500) Is a steal.
