  3. What Pedals work with the XW-seriesCasio SP-20 Casio SP-3R Pedals from Kurzweil and Korg also work as well as the switchable M-Audio, Roland and Yamaha will not. Can I used the Solo Synth and Hex Layers, or Drawbar organs at the same timeNo, only one of them can be used at a time on Zone 1.
  4. Hello everyone so I am thinking of making mp4 files of myself playing and singing on my piano.I looked into how I could do that directly to my pc to make it sound nicer and I have come to you all for guidance so heres the equipment I have gathered so far.So I have a 4 pole 3.5 mm audio cable male on each end and then a 4 pole 3.5 mm audio splitter (so one side is male the other side is two female one for microphone and one for headphones)now I believe if I just connect the 4 pole 3.5 mm audio male cable from the casio to my pc thats gonna record like a mono sound I believe which doesnt sound very good so I think you have to connect the audio splitter to the casio first then connect the 3.5 mm male cable to the microphone port from the audio splitter to the microphone port to my pc and thats gonna make a better sound I believe but Il have to test that when they arrive. My question is if I then also connect a usb microphone would my pc pick up the piano playing and my singing at the same time while recording from those two sources? Thank you for your help since Im not very knowledgeable in this field since I started last week.
  5. Hello, I just got a Privia PX-5S. I'm extremely excited to start gigging with it and have some studio sessions coming up I'm planning on using it in. I'm loving the Privia so far but having quite an annoying issue with it. I'm sure I just don't understand how to use it fully but I have exhausted youtube tutorials and the manual. On start up, no matter the stage setting, every zone has a pitch LFO on it. I go to the settings, and turn it off. (it's always set at .8 ) and everything works fine. But if I move to a new stage setting, restart the keyboard, or accidentally press the wrong button. All of the sudden the LFO is back and I have to go back into the GUI to disable it. Surely there is a setting I am not seeing, or somekind of user error. But either way it's extremely frustrating, I can't have an LFO messing with my tuning while recording, and it just sounds off trying to play along with anything. Has anyone else encountered this? What can I do to stop this from being the default setting? I have already tried doing a factory reset, it did not change anything. This is my first post on this forum. Apologies if I have posted the wrong place or broken any rules. I appreciate any input. Thank you.
  6. It there a simple way to octave-shift the sounds on the pads? It seems like there should be. Also, I made a beat, now I want to erase it, but Function + Clear dosen't seem to be doing the job. The manual is a little confusing. I want to erase the whole beat across all four banks at once, or one bank at a time. While I'm at it, please clear this up for me: I thought that I could layer a beat, a sample, a synth, and a PCM sound all on one bank, have 8 different patterns on that bank, then go to the next bank and do the same all the way to bank 4, and have a 32 pattern song. It looks now like I get only one sound per bank and have to make do with only eight patterns, and just toggle between those. Is that right?
  7. I've been trying to load samples onto my XW P1 following the instructions and having no luck. I was under the impression that if I loaded a WAV file into the musicdat folder on my SD card I could transfer it into the synth and play the sample. Was I mistaken? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
