  1. I'm new at PX-5S Stage Setting editing. I (naively) programmed the sliders to send CC 11 ("Expression") to control the volume of each Zone. Can you confirm that recalling a Stage Setting will set Zone volumes to 100% of their saved volume values, effectively ignoring the last known Expression value? I think that's another way of asking for confirmation that there's no saved value of Expression in a Stage Setting. So I'm guessing that a better technique is to have the sliders send Volume (CC 07) messages. Is this making sense? Thanks.
  2. Hello , i want to connect a guitar to a casio px 5s through the input line of this one and control the volume of the guitar through a slider. Now , which is the midi control setting for doing this operation?
  3. On the PX-5s, can I assign the transpose function to a slider? I want to avoid the button presses normally used to transpose / change keys, to make it easier to transpose quickly on the fly (like the dedicated transpose button on the PX-560). For example, if the slider starts in the middle position, moving it up one notch would transpose + 1 half-step; or moving it down one notch would transpose -1 half-step. If the PX-5s transpose feature can be assigned to a slider, how would I do it? Thanks in advance.
  4. Because I have a 2nd keyboard directly above the PX5, and a 3rd one right above that in a customized unchangeable stand which was built for a flatter keyboard, I can't easily reach the sliders & knobs. What I want to do is send a CC to the PX5 from an external controller/keyboard's knob, which will duplicate moving slider one, to add a bit of grit to an EP the way that slider does on many programs. Since the editor only specifies the target "DSP param 1" I need to know how if possible to send the PX5 what it will read as "DSP param 1". Of course, the same principle would apply to many other knobs & sliders. I can set one of the external sliders to output almost any CC# to the PX, although for some reason my XP80 sliders or pedals can't be set to 32-63 (but its keybed feels really really good). I looked thoroughly but didn't find any answers here., so hopefully someone's figured this out but didn't happen to post it.
