My apologies for such a rudimentary question, but I am looking to pick up a used Casio keyboard that is a) touch sensitive for piano, and b) has a wide variety of organ tones. I'm trying to stay under $200 for a used keyboard, but I could go higher. My question is which Casio keyboard(s) is best for my purposes? I've seen many WK-200s out there, and it seems like a good one for me, but I'm not sure how it compares to other models given my criteria. I don't want an instrument for beginners, but also don't want to spend a ton at this time. Thanks.

Hi, folks. My first post is a problem I'm having with my keyboard (typical, right?) It's a Casio WK-500. I've had it for 5 years or more and never had an issue. I turned it on the other day, keyed a chord and it sounded like the sustain pedal is continuously pressed (which it wasn't). It's very noticeable if I change the tone to something other than piano such as strings, organ, etc. Pressing the pedal has no impact. I unplugged the peal and still the same issue. The only way to make the sustain stop is to go into the settings and change the pedal setting to something other than sustain. After that the pedal has no impact at all. I've tested the pedal in a different keyboard and it works. Any ideas? I did get a response from Casio (kind of surprised that I did actually hear from them) but they asked me the old "did you try turning it off and back on again." (Which btw doesn't work.) Thanks for any help, Scott

Hi all, so the WK-3000 manual says that the Registration Memory stores (among others) the synthesizer mode settings. Those are, for example, OctShift (octave shift) and level (loudness). However, when I store some settings and then re-open them with the BANK button, these settings are gone and set to default. For example, I want the layered instrument to be only level 60 (default is 120). I save the settings. They work. But as soon as I re-open them, the settings are level 120 again. Same applies to Octave shift (very annoying!!) and probably all other synth settings. Other settings like instruments, layer, split and so on are saved, this issue seems only to affect the synth settings. This way I really can't use registration memory at all because I would have to manually re-adjust everything in synth settings each time. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there some kind of official statement why it does not work? Thanks! -
Hello folks. Im new in this forum and kin fo new with the wk 7500. It has some good piano sounds but i wonder if someone has created some different or better ones, that want to share, or if you have som eform other keyboards that are compatible with the wk 7500. Thanks.
