  1. Hello! As it is written in the title. My at least 12 y. o. Casio WK 7500 is tuning itself! It is super weird and it is totaly accidental, happens time to time. Mostly while I am playing (!), the pitch starts to change. First it sounds like a bit of pitch wheel but then it goes absolutely to a honky tonk piano without any use of pitch wheel or system transposition. Today for the first time it changed its pitch completely to a higher tone and made me huge troubles because I was just choosing the tuning for my singing repertoir. The thing which scares me the most is that it takes usually few minutes and it repairs itself for some time. How is that even possible? Do you have or know the same problem? Thank you for the answer. Hopeless Iva P.
  2. What's the quickest way to return to 1-1 on the registry???? Okay, I played the song using 2-6 now next song is 1-1 ???? Too bad Casio removed the Keypad for selecting tones -- that is a design flaw.
  3. My music arrangement works. The use of harp, pure flute, Conga drum tone, and the other is the simulation of the "voice": Doo sound, Uuh sound, chorus pad, whistle. In the arrangement, texture, sound color let people register, arrangement of less goof: try to avoid weaknesses, humming sound with double effect, Doo department, is very similar in appearance and similar; the Uuh sound is too soft, can only be used to render; chorus sounds like pad is beautiful girls far drifting voice, if let them take a main melody; whistle effect is the most distinct, strong penetrating power, is assured. I think, as to bring out the "human" and the sense of the scene, harp, flute and drum Konka is really a big drop.Sing.mp3
  4. Is anyone using the IK Multimedia product called "Sample Tank" with the 7500 ??? Are there tips on getting started ... the tap and click interface is way far advanced and way far easier to use :-) Thanks in advance
  5. Hello all! I own the WK7500 keyboard and for the most part I love it. In fact, I like the drawbar organ so much that I now leave my Hammond XK2 at home and use the Casio on gigs. I run it through a Neo Ventilator Leslie simulator and the sound is amazing! But my issue is with the stereo piano sound. The sound itself is respectable, but I've noticed one thing that is quite a nuisance to me. When you play D2 and D3 together it sounds out of tune! These are the only two notes that I've noticed this with, but it's enough for me to NOT use this keyboard for the piano sound. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way to tweak the tone to get rid of this? Thanks!
  6. Hi. I am trying to get my Casio keyboard to respond to incoming sysex data. I am certain all my connections are good because the Casio is accepting all other midi data from the same source (iPad Air running a midi app which also sends sysex data). All control changes (CC) are working fine when sent from iPad to Casio. I checked the sysex code multiple times and even verified that it was being sent properly via external software which shows the code it receives. The code I am sending is typed exactly as Casio has prescribed it in the midi implementation manual. Here it is: F0 7F 7F 04 05 01 01 01 01 01 00 0A F7 It should change the reverb type to "stadium 2". I realize that midi messages don't show up on the LCD of the Casio. But the effect of the change to the sound source should still be apparent. It is very obvious when changed manually from a small reverb to a large one. I even sent the same code to the Casio directly from my sequencer software and still no effect. Can anyone solve this mystery? The code is the same for any WK7500 CTK7000 WK6500 or CTK6000. Can anyone receive sysex files? And How? Also note that in this instance the Casio is acting as a midi receiver and NOT a master keyboard for sending. Thanks.
  7. A NEW user here ... daunted by most discussions in this forum -- you guys are obviously very experienced and already know what you're doing. . . Does anyone know of sources of training? I'm finding the manual very difficult to put together. No direct 'tasks'
