Thorndyke
I have a Privia PX 860 and find the manual a bit confusing... to say the least. I have two questions: 1. How to move my song, recorded in the Song Recorder, onto the USB flash drive? 2. How to play and record directly from the keyboard onto the USB? FYI: The flash drive is formatted to the required FAT32
Brad Saucier
The 860 has two types of recorders. Song recorder is a midi recorder. You can save it to the thumb drive as a midi file (no audio, only note data). The other type is an audio recorder. It records an audio wav file directly to the usb drive. Looks like you have created a midi recording. Have you tried the instructions on EN-39 of the manual? saving a song to usb? http://support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/008/Web_PX860-ES-1A_EN.pdf#page=40
Thorndyke
Thank you Brad! I had been confused on that section (EN-39/40) until I realized there were slots available for recording in the Music Library. I have successfully recorded my song and it is now in my IPod library.
