FranktheTank
I bought a PX-150 about 2 years ago and it recently starting having a strange sound that comes out of the right side speaker. I'll play it for a few minutes and then it will randomly start making a clicking static type sound that happens when I hold a chord. Has anyone else had this issue? Jack99
Hi there, I’ve just been doing some research of my own with my keyboard having the same issue. Did you come across a cause/resolution to this?
Brad Saucier
Can you attach a short audio clip of the issue? I have a feeling this will be something that needs servicing by a technician.
jacmfu
Have the same issue. Also happens if you send midi signals Was quoted €400 for a replacement board. Ridiculous cost for a spare part. Are all Casio parts so expensive? L
Andy K 1
I have. Px 850. It does exactly the same thing. On grand piano 1 when I play the e or f below middle c, there is a loud clicking sound on the right speaker. If you play either of these notes loud it doesn’t happen It only happens if you play with a little less than full force. If you change the main voice to bright piano it doesn’t happen. I bought one of these instruments for a friend and took the opportunity while I had it to exchange the main board. It went away. Is there anything else I can do other than changing the main board. I love my px 850 but this means I can’t play it A new board costs over $300 I believe. Help !
