N4srudin
So I called tech support and they were pretty much worthless and referred me here, so helpfully someone can help me out! I'm connecting my PX-850 through USB so that I can run it through Adobe Audition. The problem is, my PX-850 when connected is showing up in my device manager as a software device in opposed to an audio input and output like I assume it should be? It's a problem because in the audio hardware of Audition it only reads my input and output devices. If anyone has a solution whether it be with changing the identification of the PX-850 or fixing a setting in Audition I would appreciate it, thanks! Brad Saucier
The usb connection on all Casio products is for midi only....not audio. Audio has to be connected via line out or headphone out of the keyboard to the audio input of your computers sound card.
Display Name
Hi and welcome to the Casio forums. What Brad said - and if you want to keep the recording the digital realm you will need to record on the USB drive - that's the only way to get digital audio out of the Privia.
