JoeyO
I can't see where to download a driver to enable my Logic Pro to acknowledge (read?) my usb midi (E-MU cord) to my PX-700. Does one exist?? Looking at Casio's website, I don't see the a driver for PX-700 specifically mentioned, though I actually don't see where to download any drivers for Mac at all. I'm not very techy, but would love to be able to use my PX-700 to start (learning) to make music on Logic Pro. Any thoughts?
Brad Saucier
I will assume the Emu cable is an Xtab midi to usb cable. The cable itself uses a driver. Not the PX-700. The Emu driver should have automatically installed once you plugged it into your Mac. Logic should have a midi setting section where you can choose the Emu cable as input or output. Joe Muscara
What Brad said. The drivers you need should be for the interface, not the keyboard in this case. Also, you can always check MIDI messages with MIDI Monitor. It's a very convenient tool for Mac users using MIDI. Logic has some stuff to tell you about MIDI messages built in, but MIDI Monitor is more obvious. https://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/
