DTSCDS Posted May 27, 2016 Share Posted May 27, 2016 Other than the knobs, sliders and pitch/mod wheels, are there any buttons that are midi mappable? I'm using Mainstage and it would be nice to be able to assigning a button to advance to the next patch. I suppose I could use the slider someway, but a button would be nice. If you use the STAGE SETTING FILTER to assign a pedal to STAGE SETTING INC. that should send the proper MIDI signal to increase the patch on Mainstage. winip Posted January 29, 2017 Share Posted January 29, 2017 I am going crazy trying to map the dials and the mod wheel from the PX-5S to MainStage. I have no problem mapping the 6 sliders, but the knobs and mod wheel seem to not be sending any midi information. Brad Saucier Posted January 29, 2017 Share Posted January 29, 2017 The knobs need to be programmed to something that sends data over midi. Some stage settings have knobs assigned to internal controls only. Try various stage settings or reprogram the knobs by pressing edit stage setting common edit target edit. Use any unused CC.
