Justin
I'm curious if anyone else is using their PX-5S for the sound library? I just starting using Jam Origin's MIdi Guitar VST which converts guitar notes into midi commands. For some of my looping I thought it would be cool to have this trigger sounds on the PX-5S. The signal chain would be pick guitar note > USB Audio Interface > DAW > Jam Origin VST > PX-5S > USB Audio Interface > DAW > Looper VST > Speakers. Seems like a long signal chain and not sure about the latency. I plan on giving it a try but curious if others are using it for this? Alternatively I could go ahead and buy Sample Tank/Kontact but seems a little unnecessary if I have all these great sounds in the Casio. Or maybe actually just strike the keys on the PX-5S and forget about the extra routing.
Duke
the only noticeable latency is within the audio interface>DAW>output chain. Keeping low buffer size should be enough. 32 samples will be fine.
