Initial 'fall off'

Graham's

Recommended Posts

Hi does anyone know if it is possible to edit any Parameter on the PX 560 to slightly lengthen the initial 'Fall off' of the the upper notes of the Piano (s) as I find that this is one of the few things I can fault on ALL Privia's (even my old 330 !!) & effectively stops them 'singing' in the upper register on slow legato pieces . I was hoping to edit a Piano & then as a split, save the Standard Piano as lower & middle & the 'edited' one as the upper part so that the whole of the Piano 'sings' I did see a post of Mike Martin a while back talking about a similar edit on a PX 5s but can't find it again !!

Just recently bought the PX 560 and am very pleased with both its performance and sound. Not sure if you are still looking for an answer but here goes:

tap EDIT

scroll to Amp (amplitude) and tap

scroll to Env (envelope) and tap

find release 1 or release 2 or both and increase the number value. This will give you a longer sustain/release time. Increase judiciously or it won't sound natural.

Hope this helps.
