Gwen
Is there a separate appendix to the Casio PX5 manual that does not come with the piano ?
AlenK
Do you mean for the PX-560, given you have posted in the PX-560 forum? AFAIK there is only one Appendix document and it is shipped with the unit. You can access all manuals for all current Casio keyboard models on the support.casio.com website.
JohnG7
There was no Appendix manual with the PX-560 I just bought. I had to go to the Casio site to find the manual and download it.
AlenK
Perhaps an oversight. I'm holding the paper copy I received recently in my hands right now. Well, not actually RIGHT NOW since I did have to put it down to type this.

Well, not actually RIGHT NOW since I did have to put it down to type this. I'm wondering perhaps if it was older stock. The firmware is at version 1.0 rather than the latest. I've downloaded and printed the appendix from the Casio web site, but there's no MIDI implementation in it. I found the one for the 5S but don't know whether it applies to the 560. Maybe a contact direct with Casio support will elicit some response?
Brad Saucier
Casio has not released a full midi implementation manual for any of their touchscreen models. I'm not sure why. As far as PX-5S manual, I doubt it would be useful since the 560 is quite different. You could always try it and see what happens.
