Casio Lover
It is possible to start a rhythm with a particular fill-in and save the same in registration banks? Eg. If i wanna store Pop-Rock rhythm in a registration bank & always want it to start with 2nd fill-in and then continue with 2nd Variation. Brad Saucier
You can start with a variation of your choice but not a fill in.

Brad Saucier
A phrase is very different from a rhythm. It would not be useful for this.

I guess I need you to point me to the definition of a phrase. I was under the impression you could store midi note events in a phrase. ??? Brad Saucier
A phrase is indeed a midi sequence. However, it is single part sequence, unlike the 8 part rhythms. It shares the same channel as upper 1 and plays using that tone.
Rick Stirling
Ah! OK ... somewhat like the single channel pads on the Korg PA keyboards but more limited. So no Program Change events. So which PAD structure is best for DRUM channel events? (like a FILL)
Brad Saucier
Perhaps the simplest way to add a drum fill to a pad is by sampling.
