piano39
Hi- new to the forum. My friend has a Casio PX-350M, which she performs with regularly. We use it on stage, with an outboard amp or PA. However, the volume control has no effect--- it plays at full volume all of the time, regardless of the knob position. We control the volume on stage with the amp or PA, but it would be a lot better if we can use the volume control. System initialization did not correct this problem. Any ideas? Or do we have to take this to get serviced? It seems like any dealer within driving distance wants to keep it for weeks. This is a real problem because the keyboard is used professionally at least twice per week.
Display Name
Hey there and welcome to the forums. Sorry for your issue and, unfortunately, this sounds like a hardware issue that will need a tech to look at it. Now when you say dealers want it for weeks: Dealers meaning music stores or have you talked to an authorized service center (ASC) - ASC can usually turn gear around pretty quickly. If you are in Akron the closest one is about 20 min away in Beberton: EARCOS 36 N. Van Buren Ave Berberton, OH 44203 [P] 330-786-9683 [F] 330-745-6035 Terry Salem earcos2000@yahoo.comwww.earcosrepair.com There's also one about 45 min away in Cleveland: Empirical Sound 1234 East 26th Street Cleveland, OH 44114 [P] 216-241-0668 [F] 216-241-0667 www.empiricalsound.com Please forgive if you have already looked these up and these are the guys wanting it for a couple weeks. If this is the case, maybe see if they can rush it or give you a loaner. Good luck - let us know how it turns out.
