kdotpoint Posted October 24, 2016 Share Posted October 24, 2016 Hey guys! ...just started learning piano today..and wanted to play lay me down by sam smith as my first song using a piano...but the problem is i lack a single low note so I cant finish the song...I've searched the internet and saw like it has something to do with the octave? ...can anyone help me? is it possible to lower the octave of this model so i can have more low notes to use? - T - Posted October 24, 2016 Share Posted October 24, 2016 The CTK-11XX/12XX models do not have an "Octave Offset" feature. You can use the "Transpose" feature described on Page E-31 of the manual to transpose the keyboard down one or two semi tones to "pick-up" that note you are "missing", but you would have to realize that your keyboard would no longer be in tune with the "real" world (including the Auto-accompaniment). You also can not use "Transpose" as a work-around "Octave Offset", as it is only adjustable from -6 to +5 semi-tones. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
