Envergure
Hi all, If it'S possible, I would like to know how to separate the keyboard and the sound engine of the PX-5S so I can use the keyboard it to play MIDI into my sequencer (I'm using FL Studio) while recording, and send MIDI to the PX-5S's sound engine during playback. Is that possible? I tried just turning off all four zones, but that seems to disable MIDI output completely. I would like the whole piano keyboard to transmit on one MIDI channel, without internally triggering sounds. Sounds will be triggered when my DAW echoes the MIDI messages back to the piano. Currently, the echoed MIDI messages cause notes to double-trigger, unwantedly either layering tones or creating a flanger-like effect. Of course I can constantly disable and reenable MIDI in my DAW while working, but this is very bothersome. Chris
Brad Saucier
Choose the zone you want. Press edit>stage setting>zone edit>midi edit>gen out > turn it off. Write the stage setting.
