AAnderson
Hi, We are so new to keyboards. We recently signed my son up for lessons, and purchased our first keyboard ever the CGP 700. We used it yesterday came back today, and now the speakers have no sound. We did a reset 3x, unplugged everything, walked away came back did it again. Did all required stuff on the owners manual. We plugged in headphones and we have sound. Not sure what is wrong. Any tips or tricks? Thanks in advance.
Joe Muscara
Check under System Settings and see if the speakers are enabled. The internal and external speakers are the first two items when you go to that area. Another thing to try is to insert and remove the headphones from the headphone jack a few times. There is a switch in there that disables the speakers when using headphones, and it is possibly stuck. Make sure to try both headphone jacks.
Display Name
What Joe said. Also make sure the cable from the speakers in seated firmly into the keyboard. Sometimes people don't push it in all the way.
