Stringrazor Posted May 17, 2017 Share Posted May 17, 2017 I have a CDP-120 that I bought for home studio use and never really intended to use the on-board sounds much. Now I find I will likely use it live soon. The manual mentions "This Piano conforms to General MIDI Level 1(GM)" which suggests that it contain a GM sound set but even from a connected computer I am only able to access the same 5 tones that can be selected from the panel. I assume the manual is incorrect. Can anyone verify that fact, i.e. that the CDP-12- does NOT contain a GM sound set as the manual seems to suggest?
