bash Posted August 11, 2017 Author Share Posted August 11, 2017 hi rick,thanks for your speedy reply to my question,as you stated it was all there on page 61.this page then directed me to page 44 how to play midi data.i followed the instructions but still only a piano sound could be heard.i then played the midi file through cakewalk,low and behold it was a type 0 file.out of the thousands of midi files i have i had to pick a type 0 file.i then selected a type 1 file and loaded it into the keyboard wow i was amazed at the quality of the playback.maybe if i was'nt so eager to get started i might have digested the manual a lot better,anyway thank you for your help it was greatly appreciated.
