USB Storage 32Gb

I believe the important thing is that the USB flash drive needs to use the FAT32 file system. Most USB flash drives come that way but in the case of drives larger than 32GB (64GB and up) it's possible that some come pre-formatted with exFAT. (NTFS is another possible file system for a USB flash drive but it's highly unlikely that one would come pre-formatted that way because NTFS volumes can't normally be written to by macOS.)

That said, even if there were a 32GB upper limit on size (which there doesn't seem to be) it would not be a huge problem. I think most users would find it a challenge to fill up a 32GB USB flash drive on the MZ-X500. And they're cheap as dirt nowadays so if you do fill one up just slip in another one.
