infobits
Hello, searched the forum and manual for any mention of what USB flash drives are supported by the Casio PX-560 and couldn't find any specifications. My question is does it support USB 3.0 and what is the maximum drive size (i.e. 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, etc.i) that it will support without issues? I[m about to order a USB flash drive for it and want to get the largest size it will support. I wish that Casio would specify this in their documentation so that folks won't have to guess. Brad Saucier
Hi there. USB drive information is on pages EN-84 and EN-91. 32 gigs or less is recommended. Drive version does not matter. USB 3.0 will work but is not necessary.
infobits
Thanks BradMZ, I missed that fine print in the manual it seems. My old eyes are blind these days. 32GB Flash Drive it is then. They probably recommend 32GB or less to reduce boot up response times.
RBrooner
The file OS is FAT32 which only supports 32 GB partitions (Microsoft limit I believe). Guessing that if you put a larger one in and format it it will only be 32 GB. (Please note I haven't tried it, just making a guess.)

FAT32 can handle larger partitions under Windows, although it is not a normal thing to do.
