Null
A G1 is a P1 with a few key differences/1) G1 has a sampler. P1 does not.2) P1 has Hex Modes and Drawbar Organs. G1 Does Not.3) Both have Solo Synth Mode but G1 has more tweakable synth controls.4) Both have about 400 PCM voices.5) Both have GM PCM voice sets.Otherwise, they are pretty much the same in features. Step sequencer, Arpeggiators, Phrase Sequencer, all the same in both units.
Gnomo Alegre
Then:The XW-G1 is used to accompany the XW-P1, right? I doubt if I have to buy the XW-G1 or Electribe EMX. I know they are different. I believe that with the XW-P1 and XW-G1 more games create rhythms. Right?Thank you very much.
Null
They don't really accompany each other so much as complement each other. The XW-P1 is aimed as a performance workstation. The P in P1 stands for Performance Synth. The XW-G1 is aimed more at the DJ market. The G in G1 stands for Groove Synth.I suppose if you're made of money it would be fun to own both machines, but otherwise for most people it's a tradeoff between the features I listed above. Gnomo Alegre
Mmmm ... I'm looking for a machine for loops, rhythms, etc.. Not a drum machine.Does the G1 does not work?Music style:electronic, space, planner, environmental, and techno music synthesizer.I'm undecided.Thank you very much, Happyrat1. Lune
One of the limits of the G-1 for the purpose you are describing is that it can't hold many samples in active memory (loaded). This is the reason i didn't buy the G-1. There are many second hand devices on Ebay, etc. that would give you more power. I think the G-1 is mainly geared to those who want to use a handful of samples and mainly play keys around them. If you want something that holds a lot of samples look elsewhere.
