hdbek
I love everything about my new AP650! The only thing I find strange is that the two headphone outputs take 1/4 inch "standard" stereo jack plugs instead of 3.5mm like my PX110 does. All of the headphones/earbuds in our house are 3.5mm, so now I have to either go and get a big ugly adapter or buy headphones with a 1/4 inch plug (I actually borrowed my Dad's 30+ year old Pioneer headphones in the interim). I'm curious: why the bigger jack plug when everything readily available these days seems to be 3.5mm?
Null
Audiophile stereo equipment these days still uses the 1/4" phone plug standard. Personally I feel cheated when I get a crappy 3.5 mm plug for earbud style phones. Also, it's far easier to plug a 3.5mm plug into a 1/4" adapter than the other way around. Much more solid. Count yer blessings Gary
