KryoShift
It might work under WINE. No guarantees, of course. There's always Virtual Box if you have a copy of Windows or OS X laying around...
Null
I run an XW-P1 and a Korg TR76 under Linux. For sequencing you can either use Rosegarden running natively or Cakewalk Music Creator 5 runs very well under Wine except the notation font is messed up.The Casio XW-P1 Data Editor is also running under my current version of Wine.Plus there is a Rosegarden RGD file and a Cakewalk INS file that fully supports all of the XW-P1 patches and controllers. One thing about setting up Linux to run MIDI properly. It also requires a properly configured JACK Audio interface to resolve latency issues. Easiest way to set it up under Linux is to install a Linux Addon called KXStudio.Just go to this link and follow instructions and when you're done, you'll be fully set up except for the RGD file which I can link here as well.http://kxstudio.sour...:Ubuntu:Upgradehttp://kxstudio.sourceforge.net/casio-xwp1-rgd.zip
KryoShift
I was aware of music studio-specific distros, Rosegarden, etc but had never heard of KX studio, that's pretty awesome
unicat13
It would be even better if Casio team developed a version for android. DataEditor is developed in QT framework and he made for multiplatform work. Same is for Linux version.
