timkro Posted September 25, 2013 Share Posted September 25, 2013 Love my PX-3, the combination of the action, light weight and piano sound are unmatched. I'm using it as a controller as well as a piano. Anytime I choose a registration, the program change transmission shoots my Roland XV-5050 to GM Piano 1 no matter what program I tell it to send. I've shut off the program change receive on the Roland but I'd rather be able to map programs to the Casio. I wish I could help more, but I'm not familiar with the particulars of those board.. this should get you started in the right direction:Page 30 of the manual ( http://support.casio.com/pdf/008/PX3_E_1A_web.pdf ) describes how to set the MIDI transmit for program changes for the PX-3... you will need to check on your Roland to see what commands need to be sent for BANK and PROGRAM changes...
