GQpianoGuy
I've been looking into purchasing a 7500 or 7600. My only concern at this point is whether the board would be useful as a MIDI controller. I'd like to be able to use it alongside GSi's VB3 plugin as a controller. I'm curious to know whether or not the on-board sliders and buttons have some level of midi assignability such that I could use them to control the virtual organ and DAW? I'm trying to determine if it would just make more sense to go with a midi controller board instead, and invest in some good sound libraries. Thanks in advance! Bossbandbob
The sliders and almost all buttons on the WK's do NOT work as Midi controllers. The XW-P1 would be a much better choice for a controller for 61 keys or the PX-5s for weighted 88 keys.
