AlenK
I am interested to know how many G1 users edit solo synth parameters using the sliders, which seems to be a really nice capability that the P1 model does not provide. And do you prefer doing it that way compared to the PC/Mac editor or (if you have tried it) the iPad app? Having tactile physical controls for editing is nice; after all, that's one of the great appeals of most true analog synthesizers and many virtual-analog models. But having only nine sliders means that the physical position of a given slider will almost never correspond to the value of a parameter until you first move it (at which point the value of the parameter snaps to the position of the slider). In my opinion non-stop rotational encoders would be a far better solution when you have to share controls in this way.
Display Name
I REALLY like the iPad app and the "X/Y" pad - very visual way to see where the current setting is fun to play with.
XW-Addict
I work with the sliders after I've setup two initial waves from there forth I "try to get some" interesting sounds shaping by sliding the switches etc.
