NAMM Photos, Videos and News from and about Casio

Recommended Posts

Maybe Mike can also finally arm-wrestle the "orchestral" hex layer stuff that Jeff Dunmire has done for the XWs.  On the NAMM feed I overheard Mike saying he was having difficulty getting similar stuff Jeff has done for the PX-5S.  Looks like we may need to send Uncle Guido over to Jeff's house to "expedite" the process. :D

I'm curious about the CTK 6250 I don't know if that one also a new keyboard.

The CTK-6250 is the red version of the CTK-6200. The 6200 replaces the CTK-6000 in North America, so it is a new keyboard to that market. If you go to http://world.casio.com/ you will see all the different Casio markets worldwide. They each have their own line of products that launch at various dates... some even have some regional-specific models  that have oriental or Indian tones and scales: http://www.casio-intl.com/asia-mea/en/emi/localized/

Cool stuff.

Too bad it's a one off conceptual art piece.  That thing would be freaking sweet to have in a studio :D :D :D
