vilas
Hi! I have an XW-P1 and a WK 6500.XW-P1 has a button called "Hold" which works as a sustain pedal, so, when you play a note it mantains playin forever whith sounds like sax or trumpet and ends playing later when piano sounds are selected. I really like it, couse it makes sounds feel really fat and expresive.Does exists this function in WK 6500? Pianos of WK 6500 die really fast, making some songs sound rare.I know it can be solved with a sustain pedal but I prefer a function to simulate it's allways holded. - T -
The CTK/WK units are "arrangers" and are not necessarily equipped with the real-time tone manipulation features of full-blown synths like the XW's. They do not have the "tone-hold" feature of the XW's, but you can simulate this feature somewhat by lengthening the "RELEASE" component of the tone's ADSR envelope with the Tone Editor and saving it as a User Tone ("ReleasTime" on Page 1/8 of the Tone Edit menu). This will have, essentially, the same effect as a sustain pedal that is permanently held down. If you should have the need to quickly switch between your sustained and the unsustained tones in real time, just save your sustained and unsustained setups as adjacent registrations and switch between them quickly and easily. Good luck !
