new tones inside the stage patches ?

there was a post before,,but i wonder again if any tone created and used inside a stage setting will be saved with the stage patch or do we have do provide the tone patch also ?

 

are the arpeggios or phrases also saved inside the stage patch ?

Yes, if a tone is created in a stage setting and then the stage setting is saved, the tone automatically becomes part of the stage setting itself and travels with it wherever it goes.   The same applies to custom edited arpeggios.   Phrases, however, do not.  They have to be saved separately and uploaded along with a stage setting if that stage setting requires a user phrase.

But,

 

If you swap the tone out of the stage setting(SS), write the SS , then later try to put that tone number back, the tone saved with the SS will be gone, and even though the tone number you are loading back in is the same number, it is the tone from tone memory, not the SS memory.

 

So if you don't save the tone also by itself, there is the possibility of losing it if you ever swap the tone that was saved with the SS.
