Bigmark
I play my XW-P1 as part of a twin set, however I have been getting orange spots in the eyes after playing for only a short while this then sometimes induces a headache. This may sound crazy, but yes it is actually happening and is concerning me.The only connection I can see is the orange panelling on the XW is somehow reflecting back at me and causing the large orange spots in my eyes possibly caused by the angle in the twin set up ?But it happens every time I play it, particularly at home in daylight.Has anyone else had this happen ?Just trying to get to the bottom of it ? - T -
Very strange, indeed ! Typically, visual "after images" are of contrasting ("opposite") color to the color that has been "stared" at, not the same color. See this link for an explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afterimage Hope it's nothing serious. Sounds like it might be eye strain from severe glare, but a visit to the eye doc might be in order.
Peter
Get some black isolating tape, and tape every blue led on the XW. Orange is the negative of blue as I know
Bigmark
I think it may well be the blue LEDs ,combined with the angle of the XW on the top stand ?It's causing the orange boarders to glare back hence causing the orange spots in my eyes ??But still very strange ? Null
I think you should get yourself checked out by a neurologist and opthamologist and your family physician real quick. This sounds like it could be a problem with a detached retina or macular degeneration or possibly even the onset of a mild stroke or other neurological problem. This is something you really don't want to screw around with and get your eyes and brain checked out double quick! Gary
Display Name
I would go with Gary's advice here. It could be nothing OR it could be everything... Better safe than sorry. I have NEVER heard of anything like this with the XWs or any other keyboard for that matter. Get you to the doc pronto.
