User 29303
HI i am not a soundprogrammer so all my patches are basicly what i like or what i think could be nice to play or hear...on the other side everybody likes different things,,,,and sounds...it would be cool if we Rate files a little bit more sowe know if there is a sound to drop or to rework on it.... what i ask myself is also how much the EQ&Compressor settings affects the sound on other PX5S ...i have changed my settings a bit to sound better with my Kurzweil Monitors so maybe my Patches sound very different on your system .. kindly Maurizio
theodorn
I've used your stage settings quite a lot and I like them. I'll post a more detailed review later. Since we're talking about this, I feel the volume of the MVGRANDPIANO needs to be lower. I notice distortions, if I play forte or above. I also use The Pianist, and I noticed it has a more realistic decay than the basic GrandPianoConcert, setting 0-0. It decays slowly if holding the pedal, while with 0-0 it just stays at the same volume and disrupts suddenly when releasing it. How did you do that? User 29303
The trick with the Pianist is the combination of Sounds , also i have tweaked the ADRS / and FILTERS….if you take a look you will also see i have the Stage Setting down of 12 Semitones and then in the Tones i have upped again to normal running…so there is some difference in the sound …..and of course the effect ,,mostly i stop when my " Audition" is happy feel free to setup the MVGrand to a lower level in the Stage by itself…just scroll down to volume and adjust..i will take a look tomorrow…. maarkr
too bad more people don't rate the files they like so we can tell how popular they are. Nobody likes to waste their time uploading a poor SS, but I don't want to comment on a poor one cause someone put in some work to build and load it on the site, and someone may find it useful. honestly, after working with most of the SS uploaded to the site, I only have just over a dozen that i keep for my primary library. User 29303
Honestly the rating is for beeing informed if a patch sounds poor or not,,,why because everybody has different feeling of a good sound..sowhat now ,,,maybe just 2 lines telling it´s ok but maybe if you could blablabla this will help others to improve the soundpatch ,,,i know it is easy to download a patch and more easy to say "urghhhhhh" but it is always better to say..hey.....!!!!!!!!
