ptt1404
Hi guys, I noticed a strange sound like air leaks when I used sustain (m audio s2) on px 350, but the problem never occurred on my ex px 150. On px 350 it has more reverb sound than px 150, how do I turn it down? One more question, I used to play digital keyboard, the way I played was I kept my foot on the sustain at hard as possbile. But the problem I got on casio px150 px350 was the sound (string, violin ...) would never stop until I let my foot go. Please tell me how to fix this problem. Thks guys. cpcohen
The "pads" on the PX-350 (and the PX-150) -- strings, voices, and a bunch of others -- will play forever, at constant volume, as long as you hold down a key. That's normal on _any_ digital piano (or synth), for those "non-decaying" voices. Holding down the pedal is equivalent to holding down whatever keys you play while the pedal is down, _and ignoring "key-up" signals_ for any keys you release, as long as the pedal is down. I think that's standard behavior for DP's and synths. The "piano" tones behave as they're supposed to - - they decay slowly, as long as the key is down, or the pedal is down. . . . . What do you expect to happen? The "piano" tones on the PX-350 has reasonably long decay times. If you play with the pedal held down, you'll get a confused mess of sound. . cpcohen
One of the buttons is marked something like "(F+) Reverb". That means: . . . Hold down the "Function" button, and press that button. The LCD should show the current "reverb" setting. You'll be able to change the "reverb" setting with the "up-arrow" and "down-arrow" keys, if I remember right. .
