WK-7600 Layers

Recommended Posts

It's actually buried in the menus for mixer settings (p. E-36 in the manual).

Parts A01 and A02 are upper 1 and upper 2, respectively. Part A03 is the lower part.

Adjust the relative volume of these parts in the mixer, and that will adjust the balance of the two tones you layered.

ALSO  I am disappointed you have to cancel the layer or split to change the main voice (part one) It is not helpful for performing

e

On the wk8000 you can change each layered voice by using the left and right arrow buttons to switch between part on and part two voices WITHOUT CANCELLING THE LAYER OR SPLIT FUNCTION.

If someone can prove me wrong please let me know cheers

Yeah it was quite problematic fact for me as well at the first glance.

But I sought a way the problem by utilizing the registration buttons to use certain tones that either layered/splitted or not layered/splitted.

its a disappointment, layers and splits need to be changed in real time, not messy mixers or set up registrations. If id have done proper research I would not have bought the wk7600

Julian

Dont remember having another brand that has neglected this basic detail of operation for the tone change in split mode or layer.

Sorry my bad english!

Registrations, registrations, registrations!   This is what they are there for. You are supposed to set up all of your layers and splits before a performance. If you are not doing this, you are not treating it like a professional gig.  You are performing like you are at a jam session.  Casio, Roland, Korg, Yamaha, etc... all have something like registrations for professional gigging musicians.  Use them.  Learn to love them.
