Change octave range of sliders?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question answered before but I couldn't find an answer here.

While using the sliders to change note values in a sequence I noticed that I am limited to a single octave. I tried everything I could think of including the octave shift buttons without success. the manual - assuming it burns, might be useful to start a campfire.

How can I input note values in octaves above and below the note range the sliders default to? Is this even possible?

I do not know if THIS is what you are looking for, but :

Press the STEP SEQUENCER button (the bottom elongated button at the far left of the keyboard) so that it is lit.

Below that, press AND HOLD the FUNC A/B button as you press the MENU button just to the right of the data wheel.

That takes you to Page 1 of the SLIDER menu.

Arrow down twice to Note Shift and press ENTER.

Use the data wheel or NO(-)/YES(+) buttons to set the Shift value.

Press ENTER and then YES to save the setting.

The maximum values are +/- 24.

The above is covered under "Changing Slider Settings" on Pages 59/60 of the manual.

Cool idea to use the octave buttons though. In Seq mode, select a part and then the octave buttons make the change. Would be nicer than digging through menus. Would also be handy to have octave shift shortcuts in the scale editing screen.

You can use the master slider for octave shifting :)
