Mr W Posted June 6, 2014 Share Posted June 6, 2014 Hiya, Firstly I'm going to apologize because this is more than likely just me being a complete moron and not understanding the manual! Basically I just want to use the P1 in single Tone mode set to a single MIDI channel which will be triggered via my hardware sequencer (an Analogue Soloutions Europa) or via Ableton. So for example a piano patch that will be played via MIDI channel 5 leaving me the other 15 MIDI channels for other hardware I have. The problem I have is that other MIDI channels are still triggering other patches. I've been through the manual over and over and just can't seem to figure this out. Is this even something that's possible with the XW-P1? Like I say this is most likely me just being an idiot and missing something totally obvious in the manual or I've bought the P1 after not fully understanding what it can/can't do. I know it may seem like a bit of a waste to simply want to use a single patch, but not being a live keyboard player I bought the P1 for this purpose as the onboard sounds are great with the solo synth being an added bonus.
