- T - Posted June 7, 2014 Share Posted June 7, 2014 Mike While the XW-P1 will playback audio files stored on the SD Card via the Casio Data Manager software from a computer, and while it will also pass on audio signals applied to its Audio In and Mic In jacks to its audio output, it will not record or "sample" audio signals in any way. That requires the XW-G1. You could transfer your backing track files from your iPad to your computer and use the Data Manager software to convert them to Casio audio format and store them on the SD Card for playback by the XW, but some users have found that just playing the iPad back through the XW's Audio In jack allows for more flexible realtime transport control and volume mix.
