Hugh O Kelly
Don't know about you but I get so involved in tweaking sounds that I forget to play but thanks to Brad I'm finding programming easier so here is my version of isn't she lovely I did this morning I just used the string bass in logic and the rest on the PX 5slovely.mp3

dc2k
very cool. How did you do it? Are the drums a phrase, did you program it because it sounds great. how many other zones did you use? Is the bass a phrase too or are you playing it live? Sounds like you've got a few different tones going on and maybe a bit of velocity switching? I can maybe hear an organ come it for a little at about 30 seconds.
Hugh O Kelly
Thanks Brad,The balance between the drums and the "piano" gave me the chance to play. Thank you dc2kFirst I wrote in the drums an a phrase "dance set 2"The main sound is a mix between air 60's ep1/LA piano and vibesThe whole thing needs treble which I gave it but took it off the drums(no organ.......that's the e piano) The bass is from logic "A bass+ fretless bass" What I do is play the lead part with drums and add the bassThen play the lead again over the swing of the bassThen take out the bass and play the bass over the swing of the lead ,if you see what I mean so its like playing live and you can bounce or swing from the other player(even though that's me)very pleased you liked itI'm working on an original "As it might be"(in a day or two)Same mix but no vibes.......organ in the backgroundLet me know what you think
