Kenny Ingram
I've now had the XW-P1 for a month now, and I really am enjoying it. Even yesterday, I decided I would take short a break from transcribing music to jam on the organ section with loops and blues backing tracks. Two hours later — "Oh crap!"Anyway, here are my questions so far:1) The Solo Synth: when playing monophonic leads, my sustain pedal seems to not work. What happens is I can play a note, press the pedal, and it will sustain everything that I play after. But when I play a note, and then [slur] or portamento immediately to another note, the sustain pedal will not work. Any reason this should happen and how to disable it?2) PCM tone: I'm having trouble with a few (only one that I remember right this minute). The PCM tone for "Tremelo Strings" seems to glitch. When you play a note, within a half a second there's a cutting sound, and then it becomes normal. I've tried the L&R outs and headphone out, and this seems to happen on both.Other than that, I've had lots of fun getting into the XW, and I'm looking forward to getting to perform with it a little later on this year! Brad Saucier
1) In solo mode, you'll need to press the pedal before letting go of the original key. I don't think there is a way to change it. 2) I checked tremolo strings on the XW-G1. Yup. Same thing.
Kenny Ingram
It's hardly a problem for me; I just thought I'd ask. I have the best synthesizer module - for orchestral sounds - in the world less than a foot away.
