mosaix
How do I connect my Ipad Air to the AP 450. Does anyone have a step by step guide, so I can play Garage Band with the AP450 keyboard. I appreciate any help.
User 29303
you just have to buy an adapter..http://www.amazon.de/Apple-MD821ZM-Lightning-auf-Adapter/dp/B009WHV3XA/ref=sr_1_1?s=ce-de&ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=1-1&keywords=lightning+to+usband then connect your USB out from the AP450 to the USB in from the Lightning Connector.... Select your MIDI Port in Garage Band and voila´´´´

Joe Muscara
I don't think you have to select MIDI port in GB on the iPad. At least, I have never done that on mine. I don't think app expects you to have to make a "complicated" choice like that.

GSimion
I tried to use the Lighting To USB Camera adapter but to connect my Celviano AP450 to my iPad Air, but I couldn't because both the piano and the adapter have female connectors. Can anybody help me out ?
Solution Joe Muscara Posted December 28, 2014 Solution Share Posted December 28, 2014 I'm not familiar with that model in particular, but I'd bet you need a USB printer cable. That would have the flat male USB plug on one end to connect to the adapter (USB A), and the more square USB male plug on the other end to connect to the 450 (USB , somewhere on the back of it. If the USB port you're trying to connect to on the 450 is also flat, you're trying to connect to the wrong one. http://support.apple.com/kb/TA25613?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US http://www.datapro.net/techinfo/usb_info.html (See " WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF CONNECTORS ?" at the bottom of the page)
