bob3c
Has anyone been able to create a pedal steel tone for the PX-5S? I have this tone on my WK-3800 but I don't want to bring 2 keyboards to a gig if I don't have to.
maarkr
i think i asked about this on the XW-P1 forum long ago, and looked into trying to program it, but there are so many variations in tone, attack, release and bending that I gave it up. I had more luck with the harmonica tone, but wow, the pedal steel generates some user massaging beyond what is capable with a synth. that said, there are some very creative people on this site. XW-Addict
I've tried that with a bit off satisfaction with layering two jazz guitars tones this what I done (what I done to create most tones with this particular sound) It needs more work. Zone 1 Zone 2 Oct -1 Oct -1 to get it low transpose 00 Transpose -05Finetune 00 Finetune -30BendRgnDwn 04 BendRgnDwn 00BendRgnUp 04 BendRgnUp 00 And then I either set the knobs for Attack , Decay , Release and CutoffOr make a User definable Jazz guitar tone with a fixed ADRC.It would be more nicer to program it in a solo synth cause then you couldassign the bendwheel for Sustain/Release/Tremolo to make it glide more.
