leftwinger
Is there a download of a organ voice without a leslie? I'm using a Vent with my XW, but even when I disable the rotorary sound on the XW, the actual organ sample(s) all are of organs with leslie on slow, so that when I use the Vent on fast speed, I get a very unlikeable wobble sound. Thanks for any help with this..
Null
I'm not running my XW at the moment but what about the PCM and GM organ sounds? Gary
Null
I just fired up the keyboard. Try GM Organs 1 , 2 , and 3 Piano P7-2, P7-3, and P7-4 as well as drawbar organ 5 P3-3 These seem to be pretty clean signals. Gary
leftwinger
Thanks, Gary..I'd like it to be a drawbar setting, so the GM voices wouldn't work for it. I did try the P 3-3 sample, but again, it's a organ sampled with a leslie on slow..
BrettM
Great question. I have a similar problem with something as simple as a clean sine wave. The Sine Lead PCM tone has vibrato built into it. (The solo synth has plenty of sines, but they're all monophonic.) Why sample a sine with vibrato when it can easily be added with Vib Type, Depth, Rate and Delay parameters; but not so easily taken away? Why sample an organ with a Leslie when the DSP effect is available? I would rather have a dull preset and the tools to improve it than a fancy preset that ultimately limits where it can go. JimPlaysKeys
I had a similar issue with my WK7500 when I ran the drawbar organ through a Vent. What I had to do was disable the DSP settings on the keyboard. A "leslie" or chorus effect (at least on the WK7500) was a DSP setting. Worked like a charm for me.
