APStudios
Who else here finds the 76 keyed keyboards to wide when using auto cords.I find the distance between the auto cord keys and the melody keys to far apart. So I have to move the split point up a fill set of keys so it's the same as a 61 note. I've been playing 61 keyed organs etc for years but when I play 76 keys I'm all over the place.
Display Name
It just takes some getting used to... but if you don't need the extra octave there is no sense in getting a 76.
stratusrt001
i prefer 76keys to 61 but that may be do tofacti studied piano for 10years and was used to 88keys however as i goe older i find that im starting toto get some crampingin my fingers so ive played both 61 and 76 keys i feel the 76 keys gives me a little more bang for my buck when i doing a run or lick
Null
The more keys the better Nothing ruins an arpeggio faster than running out of octaves Gary
rsaintjohn
"Back in my day, our Casios had 32 mini keys, and we LIKED it like that!" Actually, I still play many old Casios with only 49 mini keys. Then again, I still play with Casio Chord mode occasionally.
