amaverick
I just wanted to share with you guys what I keep my XW In when not being played. I found this item at a local thrift store for just a couple bucks. It is a carrying bag for suits and dresses, but it fits my XW perfect. I would recommend something like a towel on the top of your board if the zipper worries you. I bet this would work for almost any boards out there. plus I get two zipper pockets on the front also.Pretty handy for extra cables. Check out the pics.
Null
It sorta looks like a body bag :D Anyway, I get my keyboard covers custom made for about $20 apiece from a guy on the web who runs a site called http://lecover.com Nice thing is that they are all a perfect fit and they all match each other perfectly. Few bucks each and they fit whatever I need to cover.. keyboards, mixers, DJ gear, computers, etc. One size fits all.. no fuss no muss. Jokeyman123
Hey, what happened to my suit bag, I had it here a minute ago? Hey, honey did you see my suit bag? What, you gave it to Goodwill-d***it! Actually, good idea to keep the dust out-thrift stores can be really helpful-my favorite is a charitable entity which donates their earnings directly, very nice. Just bought a beautiful over-sized naugahyde computer bag that looked new for 10 dollars. Big enough to hold several laptops, half-dozen music fakebooks or other music equipment I carry-my digital recorder and accessories fit perfectly in it, I grabbed it right away. Probably would have cost at least 50 bucks or more new. I've found many right-size cases for music equipment there, much more affordable than the brand-specific cases that cost so much for mixers, recorders, etc. I'll shutup now.

Jokeyman123
Hello Mau, if you are serious about "rolling your own" covers, if you can get some naugahyde by the yard (we have craft stores in the US that sell it reasonably priced), learn to stitch, not too hard if you are patient-I use my leather crafting punches, needles and thread for mine-you can custom make any size cover you want. Gary's are nice, I find some of the soft cloth covers you buy are pretty thin and let in dust, Gary's look better for stopping that. The naugahyde is pretty cheap and keeps all the dust off. I still have several I use. Or you could just get the naugahyde, cut it to size and flop it over the keys when you need to if you don't want to bother with extra work. Hey, I even sew my own buttons back on. Now i'll sew my mouth shut. See ya!
