wertmd
I just bought a CDP-230R electronic keyboard (there does not seem to be a separate forum for the CDP series). Despite following the instructions in the manual, I cannot seem to start and stop the "rhythm part only". If I hold down the rhythm button for a few seconds, I can get the rhythm and accompaniment (chords) to start when I play the left side of the keyboard, but then I can't turn it off without turning off the entire keyboard. I am able to start and stop the "rhythm only" if I set the pedal jack to "rhythm", but then I can't use the pedal to sustain notes.I spoke to someone at Casio tech support who told me that if I posted on the Casio forum site, someone named "Matt" would get back to me. - T -
You may want to post your question under "General Discussion" in the "Privia and Celviano" section, as the CDP's are more similar to those models than they are to the CTK's and WK's. I am not sure how many of those folks check this area of the forum.

Any additional comments or replies should be posted there.
