sustain pedal effects wk-7500 vs xw-p1

I have both the wk-7500 and the xw-p1.  I like the effects of the longer piano sustain notes with the pedal on the xw-p1...and in arpeggio mode the sustain notes continue in arp mode with sustain and stop the arp effect with the key release and pedal down.  The effect is what I want.  On the wk-7500 the piano sustain note are slightly less...but also in arpeggio mode the arp effect continues with key release and the pedal down...with less sustain than on the xw-p1.  I would like the wk-7500 to have the same effects with the sustain pedal as the xw-p1...or are they just different by design?  I know this may be hard to understand...thanks, Bill
