- T - Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 Roif The SD Card needs to be between 2Gb and 32Gb. If it is less than 2Gb or greater than 32Gb, the keyboard will not recognize it. How are these formatted, are you using an Apple or Windows computer to read the cards? Cards new from the factory don't usually need formatting but if you've used them for other devices like a camera it might cause problems but really shouldn't. Null Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 Actually some Sandisk cards come with a hidden partition and useless management software that autoboots. Best thing to do with those is use a utility to remove the crapware partition and reformat the drive to FAT32. Then format the card again in the keyboard to create the appropriate directories. Here's a link to a free utility. http://download.cnet.com/USB-Disk-Storage-Format-Tool/3000-2094_4-75984825.html Reformat the entire card to full capacity using FAT32 with it then reformat in the keyboard to create the necessary directories. The CTK-7000/WK-7500 has some pretty nice audio recording and playback capabilities.
