If you are trying to connect to your older Casio's (CTK-731/WK-3700/WK-3800), you most likely have never installed the Win-7 drivers for them.  The older Casio keyboards are not "Class Compliant" and require the download and installation of separate drivers in order for Windows to communicate with them.  Check your Win-7 system info to determine if it is 32-bit or 64-bit and then download and install the proper drivers:

64-bit: http://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=72

32-bit: http://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=75

Once the proper drivers are installed, you would continue to use the old IDES software with them, as the new Data Manager 5.X/6.X software is not compatible with the older keyboards.

If you are trying to connect to the CTK-7000, then it is "Class Compliant" and does not require the installation of separate drivers, as it uses the "Class Compliant" drivers that have been built into Windows since XP (Service Pack 2), but the CTK-7000 is not compatible with the old IDES software and requires the new Data Manager 6.1 software:

All of the above links are on the Casio - North American - USA (English) site.  If this creates a language barrier for you, try to find the equivalent download links on the Casio - Asia / Oceania site:

http://world.casio.com/

They will be under SUPPORT - DRIVERS/DOWNLOADS - MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.

Best of luck and let us know if you need further assistance.
