pax-eterna
Why do you keep creating new threads for this stuff? Why not just keep using the one you started way back....
Hugh O Kelly
pax-eterna,The reason is that for my part,it gives me more incentive to jam, write and obtain a better groove to play withand I am saving the ones I like so that after a while I will have a keyboard with just my own sounds and feeland it will give me the lift I needMy idea of a good time is play with a drummer and bass player that fits well with me. It might also encourage others to write their own drum loops and phrases. Does that make sense to you ?

He wasn't commenting on what's in the thread just the fact that you've already posted similar threads that new material could be added to
Hugh O Kelly
Oh I see Stein 67,well in that case I usually just play the Px-5s,record it on the spot and send it to the forum. If I put them on the same "thread" I doubt anybody would notice the new insertion
Joe Muscara
They should always notice new posts in a thread. The forum software makes threads with new posts bold, and when you click on the dot or star on the left, it takes you to the latest post. One might say you should be posting these in the area where we're supposed to share our music, but that's for another day.

Brad Saucier
Every time someone post in the share your music thread, I see it. It won't hide there.
pax-eterna
............... If I put them on the same "thread" I doubt anybody would notice the new insertion Yes I had a hunch this was your desired plan. But please follow the advice of Joe and Brad - there ARE dedicated places for efforts such as yours and it is where most folks will go who are interested. Personally it is why I have not listened to anything else after your first post. But you do what you feel you need to. I was only raising just in case you were innocently re-threading, but it would seem not. And to be blunt, your stuff does not really deserve a new thread for every bit of doodling you come up with. Ebonivor
Gee pax-eterna, that last sentence is a bit harsh.
Brad Saucier
Hugh, I enjoy what you do a lot. I really like your music and get a good feeling everytime I listen. I also tend to want to hear more of what you do. That says a lot. Keep up the good work and keep them coming.
Ebonivor
I totally agree with Brad, Hugh. Love your work :-)
pax-eterna
Gee pax-eterna, that last sentence is a bit harsh. hmmm, could have been harsher. But I toned it down. I have no issue with the guy posting amateur noodlings but just put it where it belongs. The admins have allowed dedicated threads for these efforts, they should be placed there. As to the quality, well you and Bradz and JoeM all have your own stated views, I have mine. If I posted something on a public forum, I would expect plenty of brick bats right alongside the bouquets ;-)
XW-Addict
This is funky love the guitar strumming on "More jam yes please". Speaking of jam I have a taste for jam and cheese together on a biscuit yummy .
Hugh O Kelly
Invitation AWESOME FOR JAMMING Can I invite all you fellow keyboard musicians to jam with the PX 5s and send it in Its fun,put in a one/two bar loop on the bass and drums add something else on top and enjoy yourself after that For me,I'm still working on writing a new tune from my "jam" attempts.I'm listening to some of the early seventy's bass riffs that bop. When I was working on the American base's the black bands would play and they had these kings of musicians on the bass playing the most complicated riffs known to man and would do their funky thing.........fantastic.........the guy from Bruno Mars is in that same world.......brilliant SoThe invitation is there........you've got the means to do it .....just the PX-5s is all you need
Hugh O Kelly
Friends, I have put one of my jam's in downloads Drums/bass and guitar........... Friends, you are all welcome to download.....happy Jammin' (Its just that this function seems a major part of this particular keyboard, does anybody like those old westerns, the new ones don't have it.I love how the place is relatively lawless and the bad guys bend what little law there is.Then along comes the good guy and sees through the lies and deceit and kills all the bad guys.Good wins over evil in the end)
